Safety & Compliance — Our Certifications and Regulatory Standing

Our Uncompromising Commitment to Safety and Compliance

At Bali Heli Transfer, safety is not a department or a manual; it is the core of our culture and the absolute foundation of every decision we make. We provide a service to a clientele that expects the highest standards in the world, and our safety and compliance protocols are designed to meet and exceed those expectations. We operate with complete transparency and are proud to detail our regulatory standing and internal safety systems.

Indonesian Regulatory Compliance

We operate in strict adherence to all regulations set forth by the Indonesian government and its aviation authorities. Our compliance is a matter of public record and includes:

  • Air Operator Certificate (AOC): We hold a valid AOC issued by Indonesia’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) / Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara. This certification (No. 135-XXX) permits us to conduct commercial air transport operations and is subject to rigorous and continuous oversight by the DGCA.
  • Legal & Tax Registration: Our legal operating entity, PT Juara Aviasi Indonesia, is fully registered in Indonesia, with a valid NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number) and a SIUP Pariwisata (Tourism Business License) issued by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
  • Crew Licensing & Welfare: All our pilots hold a current Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and are type-rated for the specific aircraft they fly. Our engineers are licensed by the DGCA. All employees are fully covered by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, the national social security and employment insurance program.

International Standards and Best Practices

Beyond national regulations, we align our operations with global best practices in aviation safety.

  • Safety Management System (SMS): We have implemented a comprehensive, ICAO-compliant Safety Management System. This proactive system moves beyond simple compliance to actively identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies across all operational areas, from flight planning to ground handling. This system is managed by our dedicated Head of Safety & Compliance.
  • Manufacturer-Approved Maintenance: Our aircraft are maintained in-house by our DGCA-certified engineers following the strict schedules and procedures mandated by the manufacturers (e.g., Airbus Helicopters, Bell Textron) and approved by the DGCA.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Certification: We are proud to be ISO 9001 certified, demonstrating our commitment to quality management systems that ensure consistency, reliability, and continuous improvement in all our processes.

Operational Safety Protocols

Our commitment to safety is evident in our day-to-day operations.

  • Flight Planning & Monitoring: Every flight is meticulously planned and a formal flight plan is filed with AirNav Indonesia. Our operations center monitors flight progress, weather, and communications in real-time.
  • Advanced Onboard Technology: Our entire fleet is equipped with modern avionics, including GPS for precise navigation, weather radar, and Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELTs) for immediate identification in an emergency.
  • Emergency Response Plan (ERP): We maintain a comprehensive ERP that is regularly updated and drilled with our entire team, ensuring a coordinated and effective response to any conceivable scenario.
  • Passenger Safety Briefings: Prior to every flight, passengers receive a clear and thorough safety briefing from our trained crew, covering all emergency procedures and equipment.

We understand that trust is earned. We invite our clients and partners to inquire further about our safety protocols. Verification of our key certifications can be arranged by contacting our business development team at bd@juaraholding.com.
